04:59 pm [Link]	baibai lappy... :'( so i'm about to go bring my lappy in to the FedEx store so i can ship it off to the people who are going to fixit. i'm typing this on the ultraslow iMac in my mom's sewing room... serously i type faster than this thing can think. it's sad. anyway, seeing how as this machine is super annoying, i probably won't be on much for a couple of days. your best bet to get into contact with me is to cell it, please don't feel bad to call at anytime, i'll be needing the distraction desperately, i think. i've got a pile of reading to do, so i intend to work my way thru that while my dear lappy is at the doctor... damn i'm going to miss her. ~~~ Oh! also, incase i can't be on to wish everyone a happy holiday later, HAPPY HOLIDAYS YALL! I HAVE A NEW FISHY!!! i have named him Ludo. Ludo is a goldfish. i got him last night in the courtyard, because some girl didn't want him anymore. She had been calling him "Kisses da Feeshes" which i think is retarded, and i like my name better. i have to get him food, new gravel, and water conditioner today... because his bowl is icksy. PETCO RUN! 08:25 pm [Link]	popcorn PRAISE THE LORD! the Orange City Petco has it's Grande Opening tommorrow! that's going to cut our customer base by at most half... that's gonna be sooooooooooo nice. GOODBYE YOU STUPID DELTONIANS AND NAUSIATINGLY RICH DEBARIANS AND DELANDITES! and good riddance to your stupid snappy chihuiahuias and overdressed yorkies. i'm so excited to be around for what i am secretly calling "the great decline". i work tomorrow afternoon, and i'm hoping that the place is as empty of people as those thermal vents in the bottom of the ocean where only those weird worm things can live. of course, mom has me getting up tomorrow to go to the grand opening and help her get Gussie some food and such... but at least i'm not working there. i wouldn't wish that fate on my worst enemy. also have to put my check in the bank... pain in my ass, but at least it's a decent amount this time. the baby birdies are out on the floor now, but not for sale untill they're off formula. this is only because we have three baby-er babies that are in wellness now... but today i discovered that Gigantor can fly (that's not his name, that's just what i call him). nobody else knew he had it in him. he's got at least a foot and a half wingspan... now imagine a pound and a half of monster bird flying up to land on the exposed nape of your neck from across the birdroom... with his sharp nails digging into you for dear life because he can't find footing. to think that this is the shy one smacks head on desk. Swipper gave me a nasty chomp today... and then did his birdy rendition of "yay good bird!" (which is what i say when he does something i want him to do... he's such a bastard), this of course sounds more like "RAAY ROO RIR!" only much squaakier. i'd strangle him if he wern't worth over $500. i wish someone would come buy him... like tomorrow, so i don't have to deal with him tuesday morning. they want to make me bird specialist...some more smacking head on desk I DON'T EVEN OWN A BIRD!!!! ~~~ is it a bad thing that i'm crossing my fingers that Ro's going to have to work the week of the road-trip? i lurve my brother, but really, he's no fun on that kind of thing.... he constantly whines about how bored he is and he does the sulky teenager thing rather than having anykind of fun, for fear of looking stupid. that and other reasons that i shall not speak of here for they have been typed before and i don't want to put you all thru that again. don't you love me? ^_~ but honestly, i can't wait... the Keys are going to be soooo much fun!!!! ~~~ Freya tells me she's hungry, so i'm gonna go feed her now. 12:52 am [Link]	Fiddle-Faddle i'm fostering a kitten this week. i call her Fiddle. but that probably won't be her name once she gets adopted permanantly. she is small, and orange, and stripey, and has no tail... and isn't a manx. she lost the tail when she was born... umbilical cord got wrapped around it. she is also stark raving mad with the kitten crazies, and i love her for it. she runs around the house kitten-rawring and sounding like a tiny racecar. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEOW! fast fast fast. hard to catch, and cute as a button. damn i wish i could keep her. but i can't... no matter how much i want to. my family dosen't want to take care of a half-grown cat while i'm away at Flagler. sigh oh well. i've got her untill saturday... maybe sunday... then she goes back to the adoption group, they spay her, and then she gets a new home... hopefully with people who love her. i think Gus is going to miss her the most when i take her back... he's never had another animal actually like him... ~~~ tomorrow...er today.... it's the beach with Ro, his friends, and Bert. i have to decide which suit i'm going to wear... so how is everyone else? 10:55 am [Link]	float like a leaf ... on the stream of the river of life. i have today and tomorrow off. i'm going to go to the bank to fix my account today (they somehow got my SS number wrong)... and maybe some other things... idk. i think i'm going to sleep tomorrow. yeah. that sounds nice. i'm in one of those slow moods... where nothing upsets me at all... so if anyone has distressing news, now is the best time to tell me because i won't freak out. they call me mellow yellllllow.... ~~~ mom bought me My Neighbor Totoro and Pom-Poko... so i'm prolly going to watch one of them tonight... even tho all i really want to see is PoTC 3... ~~~ Brandon was over last night. Ro and him played Halo on the Xbox all night. i watched/ slept/ cuddled Brandon because he lets me. it was a nice way to end the day, because Petco was hell on Memorial day. ~~~ damn i'm dull. to the bank with me. I HAAAATE WEEKENDS AT PETCOOOOO!!!!! people can be such stupid turtlefucks. blah. ~~~ I taught one of the sun conures (Summer, the one i want but shall never have because she is $500 and my parents refuse to ever have a bird in thier house ever again) how to step up this morning. "Step Up" means the the bird steps up onto your finger, so you can hold the damn thing without it biting every odd patch of skin on your neck and trying to chew your necklace off. all the conures are sweetiepies tho... especially Sunshine... she's the dullest-colored one out of the bunch... but she's got such an easygoing personality that it more than makes up for it. Summer's the brightest colored, and she's a bit of a spitfire if you don't do what she wants. the other three i can't remember the names of... but they're very young and they shied away from me this morning because they didn't know who i was. good grief— i want one so bad. ~~~ it's another morning shift tomorrow. kill me. ~~~ i'm bored mindless... and i'm off tuesday and wednesday... what are the rest of you up to those days? 10:56 am [Link]	Yo-Ho, Theives and Beggars... Weeee will neeever Die! (yes i am posting this on every journal i call my own... i want people to read it.) yeah, Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End definately rocked out loud. two is still my favorite, but not by much. things that i wanted to happen happened... and other things i wanted didn't happen but, oh well, it rocked anyway. i refuse to spoil tho, because the whole story is so damn involving and convoluted that even one little bit of information could ruin everything for you. i'll just say this: this is the first pirates movie that made me cry. and movies don't generally make me cry. [whyyyy did he have to diiiiiie? sniffle wimper] (below is a special bit for my favorite LJ peoples) "Our destinies have been intertwined, but never joined..." my eyes get all teary just thinking about it... and then Elizabeth is just so pitiful screaming his name from the water... it hurts the heart. (end special bit) i'm going to go see it again and again and again and again and again untill my money runs out.... and then buy it when it comes out on dvd, and watch it again and again and again and again. but i may be biased as my love for the first two movies knows no bounds. but for now, i have to get ready for work. i've got the two to ten shift today... and then the six AM to two thirty shift tommorow and sunday... so don't expect me to be on anytime for the next couple of days. if you see it, tell me, i desperately need someone to talk about it with!!! 11:59 pm [Link]	gwuh my little cold is better, except for the fact that my nose is still all stuffed up, and the only time it seems to drain is when i'm sleeping. at which point it slides down my throught and i cough like crazy. i haven't been sleeping well to say the least. even now, just laying on my back and typing this, i'm hacking every other enter. i don't cough when i'm standing... blaaaah. ~~~ i got my job back at Petco. i'm on the skeh-jeu-all for next Tuesday. i'm morning shift for my first day back. BIRDSHIT SCRUBBING ON MY FIRST DAY BACK. inexplicable noise of remorse kill me please. saw stupid Chris. stupid Chris thankfully didn't see me. he's growing facial hair... erlack. ~~~ um. went to Jen's little party today. 'twas coolies. splooshed around in the pool, ate pizza, watched a few movies, played with the dogs. a rather nice day actualy. tomorrow... or rather today, seing as how it's midnight... i'm going to a Disney park with Ma and Ro, not sure which one yet. prolly animal kingdom. ~~~ that reminds me, i should plug Rebby's battery in for a good charging. mmmn piktures. i'm starting a little commision-ish photography venture: "Giggle Kitty Studios" pets, events, portraits, and artsy stuff (meaning prints of things I like). the "studios" part is a little deciving, seeing as i do not have a studio in the sense that most people think of one. moog. my prices are job-by-job currently. the more i like you, the less it costs is the general rule. i'm thinking $10 a print and $35 per hour for the shoot as my starting price. if I really like you, like $5 for 5 prints and the shoot. if i REALLY REALLY like you, whatever you want, free. what do you people think? does that sound fair-ish? all proceeds would go to my "AMANDA'S ROADTRIP TO THE KEYS (and hopefully back) FUND". i even made buisness cards! hahaha! what a slick little thing i am! now i just need the money to get them printed out right... or for cardstock and a better cutting board. i've also got an idea for a series... drawing and painting and sculpture... maybe a little photo thrown in if a certain person will allow me to do something a little wierd with her rabbits... namely paint them... (hi Samm, you have full permission to react however you want to that... but you have to hear the idea before you say yes or no to loaning Todds and Veg[t]a[ble] to the cause). ~~~ i can't stop thinking about the Mystery man. i really really really REALLY want to see him again. God dammit. i'm such a tard for not being gutsy enuff to ask for a number... or better yet give him mine. i may just have to suck it up and get his name from my dad.... even tho that will soooo incriminate me, i'm tired of him being just the Mystery man, i want to get some more character information. if it's meant to be i'll see him again... if not... damn. ~~~ mi hermanito is playing a free MMORPG with his friends... so i keep hearing him talk over his silly little headset. the game looks fun tho... i may have to give it a whirl... it would be fun to go adventuring with my brother and his friends. ~~~ cough cough hack hack i'm gonna go to bed now. night-night peeps. sorry i'm so fucking boring.
